Fiberglass meshes for roads
Fiberglass mesh is multi-purpose material for surfaces reinforcement and in the last years it is actively used in road construction.
BauTex produces Armapal fiberglass meshes for roads, they are designed for application as reinforcing intermediate layer in asphalt coverings and roadbases. Geomeshes are represented by fiberglass rovings which are arranged in longitudinal and transverse directions, fastened against each other by sewing filament. They relocate affecting surface vertical loadings into horizontal, reduce active stresses and deformations, prevent appearance of cracks.
Use of road fiberglass meshes enables to significantly increase strength and extend durability of pavement. Appropriateness of their use is caused also by economic reasons: cost of fiberglass meshes is lower than by items from geotextile materials and metal meshes.
Armapal geomeshes differ from other by high thermal and chemical resistance and also good adhesion with bitumen. Quality of our production is confirmed by applicable Russian standards.
